My journey in mental health started two decades ago when I completed my degree in Clinical Psychology in Pakistan. Since then, I have supported my clients in building self-efficacy and in rediscovering their inner potential. I am multilingual and able to work with diverse cultures in a culturally responsive manner. I have extensive experience in supporting clients with mental health and addiction issues and empowering clients to achieve their recovery goals. My recovery-oriented and empathetic approach motivates my clients to build insight into their problems and develop healthy coping strategies so that they can achieve their goals. I offer structured CBT techniques that clients can implement immediately into their day-to-day lives. By learning the CBT model of behaviour change, clients will be able to understand how unhelpful thinking styles can affect their emotions and behaviours. They can learn healthy ways to break the cycle of rumination and unhelpful thinking patterns.
