Before an applicant can use psychiatrai as a practitioner, our team reviews their profile, qualifications, and supporting documents. This page explains what that review covers and what it does not.
Practitioners create an account, complete their profile, and submit details including qualifications, specializations, session fee, and supporting documents.
Applicants upload documents related to their qualifications and any specialization credentials they want to display. These materials are the basis of our review.
Our team checks the submitted profile and documents for completeness, consistency, and whether the supporting material aligns with the professional category selected.
Each application is approved or rejected. Approved applicants can access practitioner tools; their professional profile is publicly listed on psychiatrai. Rejected applicants receive comments explaining the decision.
Approval is an internal review of the information and documents an applicant submits. It is not a guarantee of competence, and we do not independently confirm current licensing or registration with external regulatory bodies.
Applicants identify themselves as a therapist, counsellor, or coach during onboarding. The review considers whether their submitted background aligns with that category.
