Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to psychiatrai, an app and web-based mental health services platform specifically intended to offer mental health support, consultation, and related resources to people in Pakistan and Pakistanis living abroad. By accessing or using psychiatrai, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Your use of psychiatrai signifies your acceptance and agreement to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue your use of our platform immediately.

3. Eligibility

psychiatrai is available to individuals aged 18 years or older who reside in Pakistan or are Pakistanis living abroad. Access to particular practitioners or services may depend on your location, practitioner availability, and applicable law. By using psychiatrai, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements and may lawfully access the services from your location.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current registration information, and to maintain and update this information promptly.

5. Public Practitioner Directory

Joining psychiatrai as a practitioner means your professional profile is publicly listed in our practitioner directory by default. The listing includes your name, title, qualifications, specializations, bio, languages, years of experience, consultation fee, and country, where provided. It does not include your contact details.

This profile may be discovered and indexed by public search engines (for example, Google) and by AI assistants (for example, ChatGPT and Gemini). Practitioners who are affiliated only with other organizations are not listed in the psychiatrai directory.

6. Nature of Services

psychiatrai provides access to approved practitioners (“Providers”), including therapists, counsellors, and coaches, who offer online sessions. The nature, scope, and qualifications relevant to a service vary by practitioner and are described on their public profile.

Note: psychiatrai is not suitable for emergencies or crisis intervention. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, psychiatric crisis, or immediate safety issue, contact emergency services in your location (15 or 1122 in Pakistan) or seek immediate medical attention.

7. User Responsibilities and Conduct

You agree to:

  • Use psychiatrai solely for lawful purposes.
  • Respect the rights, privacy, and dignity of other users and Providers.
